Mission Statement

The Edo Arts and Cultural Heritage Institute is a non-profit arts and cultural promotion organization that promotes Edo culture.

Description

Edo Arts and Cultural Heritage Institute was founded in 2004 by Edo indigenes to promote Edo arts. The organization goal is also bridge the gap of Edo cultural awareness between Edo kingdom and the world. The Institute seeks to use all resources available to it in finding solution to the lack of historical documentation and preservation, so that Edo arts and culture will take its place in the annals of world history.

Edo Arts and Cultural Heritage Institute is also organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, historical and cultural purposes. Inclusive of this mission, Edo Arts and Cultural Heritage Institute propose to establish partnerships with other agencies committed to the needs of the disadvantaged or impoverished in Africa and the United States. For such purposes, the Institute plans on making contributions to organizations that qualify as tax-exempt under section 501 (c) (3) of United States Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

Through our productions, exhibitions, seminar and symposiums, we strive hard to educate the world on Edo arts and culture. For the very first time, the promotion of never seen Edo arts by the outside world is about to be held in United States and other parts of the world.
